Description: NA Project work consist of the construction of 5.5 miles of levees along with adjacent seepage canals and with all associated clearing and grubbing. Construction of 15 water control structures. Degradation of existing primary drainage canals and adjacent be rms. Demolition of 19 structures and removal of all remaining agricultural drainage facilities, includes pump stations. Demolition includes asbestos abatement and removal. Equipment expected to be utilized: large dump trucks, front-end loader, and bull dozers with be required to perform subject work. The construction time is 436 calendar days. Magnitude of construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.00. Solicitation will be issued on or about 07 March 2002 and open on or about 23 April 2002. S olicitation will be issued in electronic format only. Bidders will be provided a CD-ROM at no cost. Interested offerors must register electronically.
