- NA PROJECT TITLE: Hydrologic Engineering Analysis, Modeling and Studies LOCATION: Davis CA JOB DESCRIPTION: The Contractor will undertake hydrologic engineering analysis, modeling, and studies as specific tasks. These tasks may be performed in support of HEC special projects, research and development, technical assistance, or training activiti es, undertaken as a service to Corps field offices or headquarters, or may be conducted in support of work being performed for U.S. Federal agencies or other organizations with which the Corps has agreements. These activities may be conducted in: surface water hydrology; water quality; reservoir systems; planning analysis; fluvial hydraulics; risk analysis and statistics; water control management; hydrologic aspects of ecosystem restoration, and groundwater hydrology. The tasks will often be undertaken b y application of one or more HEC software packages. Task orders will be issued defining the specific hydrologic engineering activity to be undertaken and product to be delivered. For each task, the Contractor as part of the work, may be required to trave l to the field site (anywhere in the U.S.) for data collection, site inspection, and results presentation; or may work on-site at HEC as a member of a study team, working together with HEC staff and possibly other contractors; or may perform all or most of the work in their offices; with each circumstance depending on the specific activity to be performed. This contract may be awarded to one or two of the offerors at the Government?s discretion. The contract will be for one year with option years of one year each up to four years, each option year at the Government?s discretion. Scope of services is up to $500,000 per year. Specific tasks will generally be $50,000 or less but may be up to $100,000 each. This Procurement will be conducted under SIC CODE: 7379, NAICS Code: 54133. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a Small Business Set-Aside and all qualified small businesses may respond. All responses to the RFP should be in by 30 Apr 02/3:00 p.m. ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Division?s Internet Home Page at ?http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/? for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be av ailable for download from this web site. Requests for copies of this solicitation in any other format than what is advertised will be disregarded. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the adve rtised solicitation you are interested in. Go to Plan Holders Registration. This will require you to establish a user name and passwo5rd. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for register ing your firm on Plan Holders Lists.
