Description

The work includes replacement of the sanitary sewer force main that serves the AMC Terminal Area of Chambers Field, Naval Station, Norfolk, including portions beneath the Interstate 564 and the adjacent railroad line and incidental related work. The approximate solicitation release date is March 11, 2002. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format via the Internet. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view PDF files, can be downloaded from the Adobe website. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC E-Solicitation website. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 234910 and the size standard is $27.5 million dollars. This solicitation is unrestricted. This is a firm-fixed price contract for a period of 150 days. In accordance with the provisions of DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CRR) database. Lack of registration in the CRR database on part of the offeror will make an offeror ineligible for award.
