Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, plans to issue IFB-51502-0077 for the replacement of water mains which consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials to upgrade the existing water distribution system at the Federal Correctional Institution located in Texarkana, Texas. The work includes extensive replacement of domestic water and fire hydrant piping. The magnitude of this project is between $500,000.00 and 1,000,000.00. The solicitation will be available on or about March 18, 2002, with an anticipated bid opening date of April 18, 2002, at 2:00 p.m. local time. The solicitation will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will NOT be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This is 100% small business set-aside.
