Description

Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to fog seal asphalt at Lake Louise Housing Units, Tom Stiles Road, USCG, ISC Kodiak, Kodiak, ALASKA. The work shall consist of cleaning, preparing, and applying an asphalt material fog seal to the areas designated in the Statement of Work. In addition, the contractor shall replace all pavement markings affected (covered) by the new seal coat, such as parking stripes, crosswalk striping, handicapped symbols, etc. The Contractor will be shown the exact location by the Contracting Officer. Contractor is responsible for field verification of all material sizes and quantities necessary for the complete installation of this project before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None . Performance Period is 30 - 45 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD may include but are not limited to: manufacturer?s catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to laboratory data, MSDS's, references / applicator's qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regulations. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY March 8, 2002. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed contract will be awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately March 8, 2002. Written quotes will be due on / about April 8, 2002.
