Description

NA Provide various Construction Trade and Craft services, including, but not limited to, installation of RV pedestals, picnic shelter installation, slump and natural stone, brick and concrete masonry units, framing carpentry, door and window installation, gyp sum wallboard, ceramic stone, quarry tile, acoustical ceiling tile, painting, plumbing and electrical work as ordered by issuance of individual task orders. Estimated duration for the contract award will be an initial Base Period of twelve (12) months wit h up to four (4) Option Periods of twelve months each, for a total not to exceed contract period of sixty months. The anticipated yearly amount for the Base Period and each Option Period is $750,000, with a not to exceed $3,750,000 for the life of the con tract. The Minimum Guarantee amount for the initial twelve-month Base Period is $15,000 and for the twelve month Option Period is $7,500. Option period pricing will be based on an Economic Price Adjustment factor. Funds above the minimum guarantee will be obligated with the issuance of individual task orders. Task Orders may be issued for any of the six (6) lakes (Whitney, Aquilla, Waco, Somerville, Proctor and Hords Creek) specified. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code app licable to this project is 23499, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, which corresponds to SIC Code 1629. The Small Business Standard is $17 million. The solicitation is tentatively estimated to be issued on 18 March 2002. Proposals will be due at 4:00 pm Local time on 18 April 2002. Procurement consideration (listed in descending order of importance) will be given to Past Performance, Cost/Price Proposal and the Subcontracting Plan (for Large Business only). This project will be advert ised UNRESTRICTED. Proposals from Large Business firms must comply with FAR Clause 52.219-9 regarding the requirement for specified percentages of the contractor?s total planned subcontract amount to be placed with the following: Small Business 61.4%, Sm all Disadvantaged Business 9.1%, Women-Owned Small Business 5.0%, American Veteran-Owned Small Business (including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business) 3.0%, Historically Black Colleges and Universities/Minority Institutions 2.0%, and HUBZone Sma ll Business 2.0%. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Amendments to this solicitation will be issued as Internet only. No additional media (Floppy Disks, Faxes, or Paper) will be provided unless the Governm ent determines that it is necessary.
