Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number NMA402-02-T-0005 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being expressed on a brand name or equal basis. If award is to be made using other than brand name, prior to award a sample would need to be provided for testing. The items are as follows: Item 0001, Qty 100 rolls, Plastic Transparent Heat Shrinkable Film 1 mil, 100 gauge, 20" x 2620' centerfold film. Cryovac Part Number D955 or equal; Item 0002, Qty 100 rolls Plastic Transparent Heat Shrinkable Film 1 mil, 100 gauge, 16" x 2620' centerfold film, Cryovac Part Number D955 or equal. Delivery 21 days after contract award to NIMA, ATTN Central Receiving, (MS J-111), 3838 Vogel Road, Arnold, MO 63010. FOB Destination. Preservation, packaging, packing and marking shall be standard commercial. Standard commercial warranty shall apply. Offers are due to NIMA, Attention: K. Edgar, ACS via facsimile (314) 263-8024 no later than 1:00 CDST on 4 March 2002. Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration system to receive consideration for award. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible contractor that submits the lowest total price for both line items. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
