Description

The 38 EIG/PKK intends to procure on a sole source basis local telephone service for Hickam AFB HI. The intended contractor is Verizon Hawaii Inc. The contractor shall provide ISDN circuits, and over 500 circuit extensions/private line circuits. The period of performance shall be 11 months or the new competitive contract is in-place. The primary place of performance will be Hickam AFB HI. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). A competitive solicitation has been issued but service with Verizon Hawaii must continue until the new contract is awarded. The Government intends to issue a Communication Service Authorization (CSA) written against Basic Agreement DCA20096H0047. Note 22.
