- Survey of Research and Development Expenditures at Universities and Colleges and Management of NSF Academic Surveys Database for Survey Cycles Fy 2002, FY 2003, FY 2004, FY 2005, and FY 2006. The National Science Foundation requires services to collect data on the amount of science and engineering (S&E) research and development (R&D) expenditures at universities and colleges, support the academic Integrated Data Base for survey cycles FY 2002, FY 2003, FY 2004, FY 2005, and FY 2006. We anticipate that the period of performance for this five year effort will be from July 2002 to June 2007. The anticipated Request for Proposals (RFP) release date is March 18, 2002. This acquisition is UNRESTRICTED and is open to both small and large business concerns. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be accepted. Interested firms must check the Internet at the address below to obtain the actual release date. Copies of the solicitation, attachments and any amendments to the solicitation will only be available by downloading from the NSF website at http://www.nsf.gov/home/about/contracting/index.cfm. There will be no hard (paper) copies of the solicitation made available.
