Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Scott AFB, IL, will procure the following: on-site predictive, remedial, and preventive computer hardware maintenance services for the DISA DCTF, Slidell, LA. (This RFP was previously synopsized as RFP Number DCA200-01-R-5035.) This is a small business set-aside. Maintenance services will consist of 3 levels of service: 24 hours a day by 7 days a week, 9 hours a day by 5 days a week, and next business day. There may be instances during the life of the contract when all equipment would require 24 X 7 maintenance for short periods of time. The NAICS for this procurement is 811212. The size standard is $21.0 million. The resultant contract will consist of a one year base and four one year options. The anticipated RFP release date is on or around 18 Mar 02 with proposals expected to be due approximately on 8 Apr 02. Vendor proposals in response to this RFP must be received in hard copy in accordance with the RFP. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. THE SOLICITATION AND ALL RELATED INFORMATION WILL BE ISSUED ELECTRONICALLY; THEREFORE, ALL WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE RFP WILL BE IGNORED. Vendors must download the RFP, amendments, related correspondence, etc. by accessing the DITCO Home Page, Contracting Opportunities, at http://www.ditco.disa.mil. This solicitation and related information will be found under the "Vendors" "Contracting Opportunities" link. Click on "Solicitations - RFP's?.". Once released, the RFP will be under the heading of "Other Telecommunications and Computer Technology". Files will be in Microsoft Word 2000 and/or Microsoft Excel 2000 format. RFPs are usually a compressed (PKZIP) file requiring you to have compatible software to extract the files.
