Description

UNICOR, FPI intends to enter into a Firm Fixed Price Requirements type contract for sheeting fabric and blanket fabric. This requirement will be issued as a Request for Proposal. The period of performance is for three (3) years. Specifications shall be as follows: LINE ITEM 0001 - FAB8161-SHTG,"EXCEL", 75/25,66"W, WHITE, NMC-LOGO, CONTINUOUS LOGO CONSISTS OF: NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER, SAN DIEGO, CA., I.A.W. CCC-C-430F, 75%/25% COTT/POLYESTER THREAD COUNT: 141 MIN. PRESHRUNK. UNIT OF MEASURE: YARD. LINE ITEM 0002 - FAB8162-SHTG, EXCEL, 75/25,66"W, MSTY-GRN, NMC-LOGO, MISTY-GRN SHEETING SHALL HAVE CONTINUOUS LOGO OF: NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER, SAN DIEGO, CA., I.A.W.CCC-C-430F, 75%/25%-CTTN/POLY THREAD COUNT: 141-MIN. PRESHRUNK. UNIT OF MEASURE: YARD. LINE ITEM 0003 - FAB0037-BLANKET, NATURAL, 100%CT, 66"X94", NMC-LOGO, RM, WEIGHT: 2.75-LBS.EA.100% LONG STAPLE CTTN THRML TRNSMITNCE"CLO"VALUE NOT LESS THAN .987. UNIT OF MEASURE: EACH. Delivery is FOB Destination: FCI Miami, Florida. Delivery Acceptance is 45 days after receipt of delivery order. Bid Samples are required and are a condition of contract award. This requirement is all or none and is domestic only. The award will be based on the best value to the Government. The evaluation factors are: past performance, ability to conform to specifications, and price. Additional information will be provided in the solicitation which is due to be issued on or about March 7, 2002. All interested parties shall retrieve a complete copy of the solicitation from the Federal Business Opportunities website at: www.eps.gov. No telephone or mailed requests will be honored. All questions/inquiries shall be put in writing and addressed to the Contracting Officer indicated in this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered.
