- Description
- Provide all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performance of all work incidental to the construction of a one-story, 5400 GSF addition to the Consolidation RDT&E Laboratory Facility to provide additional laboratory space for the Control System Advance Concept and Technology (CSACT) facility. The structure will be made out of steel frame with spread foundation, masonry exterior, raised access flooring, built-up roof, complete heating ventilating and air conditioning system, complete electrical system, complete fire protection system. The addition will include shipping/receiving area, large laboratory with an observation balcony, and a control room. This will be a source selection procurement for a firm-fixed price contract. Award will be evaluated on the basis of the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Proposal to the Government. Selection Criteria are Price, Technical Management Factors and Past Performance. The time for completion is 300 days. The estimated cost range is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The NAICS Code for this project is 233320. This project is advertised on an unrestricted basis. In accordance with FAR 5.102(a)(7) availability of the solicitation will be available for download free of charge via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil (website). Hard copies (paper sets) of the solicitation WILL NOT be provided by the Government. This solicitation is advertised in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat PDF file format. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the website. The official plan holder?s list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. -- Plan holders list WILL NOT be faxed and will only be available from the website.
