Description

The U.S. Dept. of Commerce, Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) has a requirement to produce and disseminate accurate, timely, relevant, and cost effective economic accounts statistics that provide government, businesses, households, and individuals with a comprehensive, up to date picture of economic activity. DOC/NOAA intends to negotiate with Finite Matters Ltd. on a sole source basis. Finite Matters Ltd., of Goochland, VA, is the sole provider of the proprietary PatternStream software. The contractor shall modify the PatternStream coding required to produce all Survey style tables, utilizing the UDDA platform. The Contractor will also make recommendations for an ongoing data submission process and review process. In addition, the Contractor will provide advice and assistance to CBAD staff in facilitating production of Survey articles. Interested parties may submit to the point of contact (POC) an experience statement by addressing their capability to perform these services. Services include: 1. Optimization of the Unified Data Dissemination Architecture (UDDA) Pattern Set 2. Review and analysis of Current Business Analysis Division (CBAD's) (UDDA) database 3. Review and analysis of (CBDA's) (UDDA) Pattern Set 4. Recommendations for improving the (UDDA) This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. Late responses will not be accepted. No telephone inquiries will be honored. If no written responses with convincing documentation is received as to a companies documented and demonstrated ability to modify the coding an order shall be placed with the above named vendor.
