Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Telecommunications & Information Administration (NTIA) proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) with Terrex, Inc. for a "3D Visualization Tool" software package called TerreX. This software is currently used by the Department of Defense(DoD) and must comply with DoD systems already in use. Terrex is the developer of this software, therefore no other vendor can meet the requirement. This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This synopsis is issued for information only. Anticipated award date March 15, 2002.
