The anticipated award date will be 22 APR 2002. Electronic procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: The B F Goodrich Co, Troy Oh 45373-0340. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. The drawings which will be furnished under this RFP and any resultant contract are proprietary to __________. Firms interested in proposing on this RFP must submit the following certificate signed by an individual authorized to bind your company, or the bid package will not be furnished. Certificate Regarding The Use Of Data Proprietary To __________ The offeror hereby acknowledges that the data to be furnished by the Air Force furnished by __________ in this solicitation and any resultant contract is proprietary to __________ and contains the appropriate proprietary legend. The offeror certifies that he will observe the following data use restrictions: (1) The limited rights will be strictly observed. (2) The offeror shall be prohibited from reproducing in whole or in part any drawing so restricted except as required to bid request or full contract requirements. (3) The offeror is so prohibited from incorporating any information and features of the drawings into other documents or otherwise utilizing such information except for the performance of the bid/contract. (4) All drawings or copies thereof will be returned to the Government at the completion of the bid or contract period. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call the Ombudsman listed below if your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer. ATTENTION: Contractor must be registered with Central Contractor Registration to be eligible for contact award or payment from any DOD activity. It has been determined to be uneconomical to buy the data or rights to the data. It is uneconomical to reverse engineer the part. See Note (s) 26.
