Description

The contract will be awarded in accordance with FAR 5.202(a)(12). The proposed contract action is by a Defense agency and the proposed contract action will be made and performed outside the United States, its possessions, or Puerto Rico and only local sources will be solicited. General Description: Tubular beds, 300 single size/ 200 double, (Omini International Inc. or equal). Single/Double Bedspring with slats: 95cm X 190cm LX 40cm H The bedspring with slats eliminates need for box springs. General description is external frame 50X30 1.2mm. Spring is provided with 50x5 support bands for feet. Mattress support plane is made up of estimate of 14 stratified-wood curve slats. Slats can be attached directly to external frame. Slats should have provisions to ensure silent movement. Feet should be removable for transportation and allow for extension up to 200cm long by quick joint extensions. Offerors of any equal must also include descriptive literature and any proposed modifications making and or equal items conform to the specifications.
