- NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District is seeking Application for Lease of Real Property of the United States at Philpott Lake near Martinsville, VA. The Application for Lease requests proposals for the construction, operation and maintenan ce of a marina concession facility under a lease agreement with the Government. The Government is offering two sites for consideration by the applicants; however, only one lease will be awarded for one site. The sites offered are: 1. approximately 31 a cres known as Twin Ridge Park, located in Franklin County, Virginia, and 2. approximately 54 acres known as Philpott Park, located in Henry County, Virginia. A Pre-Application Conference is scheduled for March 5, 2002. Applications must be received by the Government no later than 2:00 p.m. EST, April 18, 2002.
