- NSWC, Indian Head, Detachment Earle, NJ has a requirement for one (1) closed loop water cooling system. The system will be used to supply cooling water to a variety of equipment used in a large test facility. The following is the present equipment in use: Conrad Environmental Chamber Model No. WD-1024-20-25, Russell Environmental Chamber Model No. GD-64-5-5, Unholtz Dickie Vibration System TA145-120, and Unholtz Dickie Vibration System SA60-T1000IAR-43. The closed loop water cooling system shall be permanently installed at NSWC, Indian Head, Detachment Earle, NJ both inside and outside the Test & Evaluation Branch building C-54. Some of the basic requirements are: physical, makeup water tank and supply pumps, supply and return water piping, electrical, control and monitoring, manuals and drawings, installation, startup and training, warranty and delivery and acceptance. Wh en the solicitation is issued, there will be a date and time specified for only one time site visit. All contractors wanting to submit a proposal will visit the site at one time. The delivery date for the closed loop water cooling system is (16) sixteen weeks after date of award. This will be a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The FSC: 4110 and NAICS: 333415. This solicitation will be available for downloading from our website beginning approximately 25 March 2002. Prior to this date, you will not be able to access this solicitation. When available, copies of this solicitation can only be obtained from the Navsea, Indian Head Internet web page. To Register for this solicitation, you must email the following information directly to Kay V Proctor at proctorkv@ih.navy.mil. Solicitation number (in subject line of your email); name of the requestor; Organization name, address, telephone and fax number; and your email address. Use your email read notification feature to confirm the Contract Specialist's receipt of your registration. The government is not responsible for any undelivered e-mail transmissions. It's the requestor's responsibility to periodically check the Navsea, Indian Head Contracts Division website for current status of solicitations and amendments. Once the solicitation has been issued on the internet, the contract specialist will send an e-mail message to the registered requestors informing them that the solicitation is now available for downloading off the internet. Copies of issued solicitations can only be obtained by downloading them from the Navsea, Indian Head Contracts Division website at http:// www.ih.navy.mil/contracts (" copies of solicitations will not be e-mailed, faxed, mailed, or provided in person, these types o f requests WILL NOT BE ACKNOWLEDGED"). Note: All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in DoD's Central Contractor Registration database.
