- Description
- The work associated with the replacement of the MALSR shall include, but is not limited to: Demolition and removal of existing system; Concrete foundation installation; Duct installation, including jacking ducts under an existing state road; equipment installation, pulling, test and termination power and control cables; complete check of installation, energize system, and initial burn-in; clean up and restoration of site to its original condition or better. <P> Estimated price range $100,000 to $200,000. The FAA has a critical construction start date of May 6, 2002 which the successful offer must be able to meet. <P> A $50.00 non-refundable fee is required for bid package. All request must be in writing to Susan Newcomb, Federal Aviation Administration, 12 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803. All checks should be made out to the Federal Aviation Administration and should accompany your request. Bid packages will be available on or about March 15, 2002. Closing date for bids will be on or about April 11, 2002. <P>
