- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Western Ecological Research Center intends to issue a non-competitive award to Kemp Anderson to Establish and Conduct In-Depth Demographic and Habitat Surveys for the Desert Tortoise on the Upper Ward Valley Plot and Shadow Valley Plot in San Bernardino County, California. The tortoise field work requires both state and federal threatened species scientific research permits plus expertise in drawing blood and conducting nasal lavages. Estimated period of performance is March 15, 2002 through December 31, 2002. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Information will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Determination to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. No additional synopsis will be published.
