Description

The Officer in Charge requires all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, incidental engineering and management necessary to perform inspection, preventive maintenance, load testing, certification, and repairs on the capstans located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia. This is a combination Firm Fixed Price/Indefinite Delivery Contract. This solicitation is for a period of one year. The Government may extend the term of the contract for a period of one to twelve months. The total durations including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 60 months. The proposed procurement is 100% HUB-Zone Set Aside. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 33312 and the size standard is $5,000,000.00. This (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about 16 March 2002. Estimated bid opening date is 16 April 2002.
