Description
This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the solicitation. Solicitation number N00244-02-R-0025 is hereby issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04 and DCN 20020129. The FSC code is 6110. The North American Industry Classification System code is 23531 and the business size standard is $11.5 Million. The agency need is for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), installation, onsite operation and maintenance training and documentation. The UPS will replace the obsolete existing system that provides backup power for the Atlantic Fleet Weapons Training Facility (AFWTF) at Puerto Rico. Anticipate FFP contract. To be eligible for award offerors must be properly registered in the Government?s Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423 or visit the Internet @www.ccr.gov. All FAR certifications and representations specified in PART III must accompany your proposal. One original and one copy of the proposal shall be sent to: Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Code 280, 800 Seal Beach Blvd, Bldg 239, Seal Beach, CA 90740-5000. Any person wishing to hand deliver an offer should provide advanced notification to G retchen Yeh at (562) 626-7365 between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The person must be a U.S. Citizen and provide his/her Social Security Number. The Pass and ID office is at the Main Gate of the Naval Weapons Station on Seal Beach Blvd. Entry to the building is through the Westminster Ave gate. Failure to be permitted access to the Station shall not be considered justification for consideration of a late proposal by the Government. The terms of the provision at FAR 52.214-7 or at FAR 52.215-10, which define late submissions, modifications, and withdrawals of bids or proposals, apply.
