Description

NA CONTACT Cristina Mundrane, VIS Program (PM DCATS), (732) 427-2421 This is a Request for Information (RFI) Market Survey regarding an enhancement to the AN/VIC-3 System that will permit a VIC-3 System to be connected to another VIC-3 System or another Intercom System presently used by the U.S. Army. Connectivity between t he Intercom Systems will be by Fiber Optic cable. The enhanced VIC-3 System will require a minimal amount of retrofit and will include the option of retaining the original VIC-3 hardware, including the original cabling already installed in the Army platfor m that will be upgraded. Equipment for demonstration purposes shall be available within 90 days and production assets will be available within 12 months. Full production will convene within 18 months. Respondents shall provide specifications, test data and schedule, along with Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costs. ROM costs shall include range quantities (range costs shall be determined by respondents). Suppliers capable of furnishing this enhancement must so indicate by writing to: Commander, CECOM, PM DCA TS Bldg. 209, ATTN: AMSEL-DSA-TST (Mundrane), Fort Monmouth, New Jersey 07703-5000.
