- PROCUREMENT NOTICE -- Title: REPAIR SPALLS AND RESEAL JOINTS IN PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE ON RUNWAYS AND TAXIWAYS AT THE NAVAL AIR WEAPONS STATION, CHINA LAKE, CALIFORNIA. -- This project for is for Contractor to provide all material, labor, supervision and quality control to provide repair spalls and reseal joints in portland cement concrete on runways and taxiways at the airfield. Contractor shall be required to keep site clean to prevent FOD. While contractor is on airfield pavements they will be under the control of the control tower. Only one runway shall be worked on at a time. (Both ends may be worked on simultaneously). Runway 8-26 shall be worked on first. All work on Runway 8 within 200 feet of Runway 21 shall be completed within one week. All work on Runway 26 within 100 feet of the Parallel Taxiway shall be completed within one week. All work on Runway 32 from station 88+12 to 90+12 and on adjacent taxiways shall be completed within two weeks. All striping shall be accomplished at one time on a weekend or station flex Friday. The NAICS Code is 23411 with a related small business standard of $27.5 Million. This is a Firm Fixed Price Contract. This solicitation is unrestricted. The estimated cost range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Project completion time is 145 calendar days. Plans and specifications will be available on 29 March 2002 with a Site Visit scheduled for 15 April 2002 at 9:00 AM. The Bid Opening is scheduled for 29 April 2002. Potential bidders should request this solicitation (IFB N68711-02-B-2502) over the Internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil as an Electronic Bid Solicitation (EBS). No paper copies will be available. EBS solicitation packages may be acquired by registration and download at the Internet EBS Web Site. All prospective offerors must register as plan holders on the EBS Web Site for this project. Plan Centers are also required to register. Plan holders lists will not be mailed or faxed and will only be available at the EBS Web Site. The Official Plan Holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the EBS Web Site. All requests on the Web Site must include (1) complete solicitation number and project title and (2) company name, point of contact, address, phone number, and e-mail address of the registering company. Each company must also identify whether the firm is a small business, small disadvantaged business, or large business and if the firm is a woman-owned business. To be eligible for award, Contractors shall be registered on the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.dlsc.dla.mil.
