Description: Collect nesting data on the red-cockaded woodpecker (RCW) population in Francis Marion National Forest during the 2002 nesting season. This data will be used to guide management of the RCW in the Forest and in several research projects on population trends, efficacy of artificial cavities, reproductive behavior and cavity competition.
