53?BOLT. SOL F34601-02-R-54569 DUE 04/30/02 Chuck Bautista / LPDBB/[405]734-8760. Item 0001 NSN 5306-01-466-2872NZ, Part Number: AS3307-08, Qty: 3511 each. Applicable to: F100, FDT Module. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: TBD, 3511 ea. The approximate issue date will be 1 April 02. To Pratt and Whitney, East Hartford CT CAGE 52661. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the selective competition of the item. This item will be purchased directly from the actual manufacturer or vendor, including a prime contractor who is the actual manufacturer. Contracting will be made only from the current approved source, Pratt and Whitney; first article is waived for Pratt and Whitney. Qualification Requirements will be made available upon request however this requirement will not be held pending the approval Source Approval Packages. First Article is required for new approved sources. Surplus will not be accepted. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed above. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
