Description

The U.S. Coast Guard, Civil Engineering Unit Cleveland intends to award multiple contracts for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contracts for interior painting of unfurnished/vacant U.S. Coast Guard Family Housing Units located at USCG Training Center Cape May, 1 Munro Avenue, Cape May, New Jersey. Only a portion of the total number of housing units will be painted each year. The complex consists of some townhouse style homes, some duplex, some quad units, some 5-plex, some 6-plex, and some single family. The NAICS Code is 235210 (SIC Code 1721) size standard $11.5M. This procurement is open to both large and small businesses in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The estimated range is between $25K - $100K (the estimated range is based on the base year and option years). The period of performance will be for one (1) year with an option to extend the contract for four (4) additional one-year periods. A Bid Bond is not required. Payment Bonds shall be required in the amount of 100% for any delivery order over $100,000.00. Multiple awards may be made if the Coast Guard determines that it is economically advantageous. Due dates for quotes will be not less than 30 days after solicitation issuance. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings, if applicable, will be available for download at the following website: http://www.eps.gov. NO FAXED, WRITTEN, OR TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Offerors should register to receive notification of this solicitation. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's)! The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000.00 with interest at the prime rate.
