Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 52.211-6. The solicitation do cument and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 2001-04 (8 February 02) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, and current to DCN 2002129. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 335999 with a size standard of 500. This requirement consists of Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, with a quantity of 10 Each, Basic Work station (Style B)(4-drawers)(one-drawer)(one- cabinet with shelf), C & H Stock No. 55-54DA (color #66) with the following accessories to be included: Riser, C & H Stock No. 55-578DA; Backsplash, C & H Stock No. 55-580DA; Task light, C & H Stock No. 55-499 D; Wrist Straps, C & H Stock No. 55-498D. The manufacturer is Kewaunee Scientific Corporation, 2700 West Front Street, Post Office Box 1842, Statesville, NC, 18687-1842. All quotes shall be clearly marked with this Solicitation number DATM07-02-T-0010 an d e-mailed to Linda.Renteria@yuma.army.mil or Fax 928-328-6849 no later than Close of Business at 5:00 PM MST on 11 March 2002. Offerors that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and 252.212-7001 cited below, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforms to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on acceptability and price.
