- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Maripri, Inc. of Goleta, CA for the lease six (6) hydro acoustic information link (HAIL) systems. The contract will include the installation of one system on a designated U.S. submarine in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The contract will also include a line item for training on the installation of the remaining five systems. The contract will also include a not-to-exceed line item for repair should any of the systems fail during the lease period. A Statement of Work will be made available with formal request for quote. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is N66604-02-Q-2965. This is 100% set-aside for small businesses. FOB Destination Pearl Harbor, Hawaii for one system and FOB Naval Station Norfolk, VA for the remaining five systems. Required delivery 30 April 2002. NAICS code is 334220; size standard is 700 employees. Estimated RFQ release date is March 12, 2002. Offers must be received by 2:00 p.m. on March 22, 2002.
