Description

The U.S. Department of Commerce, NOAA, intends to purchase the following item: 100 each monitors, RF Power, 30 Watt maximum, 100 OHMS minimum, Paramax PN: 1213625-201, Narda PN: 70069 or 466B, General Microwave PN: N425-838. NSN: 5895-01-368-4590. ASN: R400-2A5. The item must be in compliance with Drawing 1213625, Revision E, which will be included with issuance of the Request for Quotation (RFQ). This item is being purchased for the National Weather Service to be delivered to the National Logistics Support Center, Kansas City, Missouri. As this item is in support of current NEXRAD program, alternative or like items will not be accepted. The intended acquisition is for supplies for which the Government intends to acquire under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. Any small business source able to provide the exact make and model of the equipment referenced herein is encouraged to respond to this announcement within 10 days of its publication. Interested firms should submit in writing its name, address, point of contact, telephone number, business size and a brief statement regarding its capability to provide the specified equipment. Also include the name, telephone number, and point of contact for businesses or other Government agencies to which it has previously provided the item. The information should be submitted to the address listed herein or may be faxed to the attention of Jackie Shewmaker at (816) 426-7530. Failure to provide the required information will deem your request non-responsive. This is not a request for proposal and there is no solicitation available at this time. The Government reserves the right to solicit bids based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice. The NAICS code is 334919. This requirement shall be considered 100% set-aside for small business.
