Description
NA NOTE: THIS IS A MARKET SURVEY ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) OR INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB). Project Manager, Signals Warfare, is conducting a Market Survey to identify companies with the capability of implementing modifications to u pgrade Guardrail Common Sensors (GRCS) Systems 1,2,3 and 4. Modifications may include: Replacement of Advanced Quick Look (AQL) airborne processor hardware and software; Retrofit of GRCS Systems 1,3 and 4 ELINT antenna pods to System 2 configuration; Red esign, code and replace existing legacy ground processing Main System Computer (MSC) and ELINT System Computer (ESC) SW; Upgrade the signal collection and processing capability to handle advanced digital signals; Integration of Distributed Common Ground St ation-Army (DCGS-A) capabilities into GRCS ground processing; and upgrades to GRCS ELINT algorithms. Redeisigned MSC and ESC subsystems must transfer all of the functionality of the existing GRCS systems into upgraded SW systems. Redesigned SW must be in stalled in the existing ground processing HW. These efforts require systems engineering, detailed design and design integration for modifications and upgrades to existing GRCS ground and airborne systems. All replacement hardware and software using comme rcial products must meet the Department of Defense Joint Tactical Architecture and Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment (DII COE) requirements. Technical points of contact are Mark Due, (732)427-2190 and George Massabni, (732)42 7-5868. Correspondence which prospective offerors would like to submit may be addressed to electronic mail address jackie.weeks@mail1.monmouth.army.mil. Potential offerors are requested to provide responses no later than 8 April 2002.
