Description

NA This work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment and constructing the Upper Yazoo Projects, Item 5A, channel enlargement, bank stabilization, and riser pipe grade control structure, located in Leflore County, Mississippi. Princip al features of work include mobilization and demobilization, clearing for channel excavation, channel excavation, disposal facilities, disposal of excavated materials, clearing and grubbing, control of water, filling and backfilling, corrugated metal pipes , stone protection at riser pipe structure, lime treatment, two 42-inch pipe structures, granular surfacing, concrete work, stone protection at tributary stream outfalls, erosion control, steel flap gates, bank stabilization work, providing as-built drawin gs (both blueline and electronic), storm water pollution prevention and environmental protection. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Cont racting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/ and on compact disc at no charge. Hardcopies will not be available. The CD-ROM may be requested electronically by registering on our homepage or mailing your request to VCCO at 4155 Cla y Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183-3435.
