- BLM Request for Proposal, NAR020052, 4,000 Safety Cans, 5 Gallon, Type II, Jerrican Style. This is a synopsis for 4,000 Safety Cans, Type II, Jerrican Style. This is 100% set-aside for small business. The standard SIC/NAICS classification is 3542/333513. The Safety Cans must be DOT/OSHA approved for transportation. The Safety Cans must be a Type II container for transport of Class II liquids. Cans must be red in color, Jerrican style, no round cans accepted. Important element: A pull spout and pour spout are required that must include a spring-closing lid and spout cover designed so it will safely relieve internal pressure when subjected to fire exposure in accordance with 29CFR1910.106(a)(29).
