Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-20. The solicitation number is F34601-02-Q-54534. The solicitation is a request for quote (RFQ). Closing date for quotations will be received at the issuing office until 3:00 PM on 12 April 02. The anticipated award date will be 13 May 02. This is sole source to Nichols Div, of Parker Hannifin (CAGE 86329) because the government does not own the complete data or rights to develop additional sources. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 336412. This is a requirement for Line Item 0001, NSN: 2840-00-115-3180NY, HOUSING GEARBOX TURBINE ENGINE which supports the repair of the lube and scavenge pump on TF39 engine for the C5 Aircraft. Predominant Material of Manufacture: Aluminum. Size/Dimension: Approximately 18 in. long x 10 in. wide. Form/Fit/Function: Part of the lube and scavenge pump which provides oil for lubrication and cooling of the bearing seals and accessory drives on the forward and aft transfer gearboxes. Qty: 17 each, P/N: GD498-1. Ship to: FB2039 OC-ALC, Bldg 506, 7401 Arnold St Door 22, Tinker AFB OK (CML PHN 405 739 2349). Mark For: ACCT 09. FOB is origin. Inspection/Acceptance is origin. Packaging requirements are as follows: MIL-STD-2073-1, Preservation Packing Level B. Coded Packaging Data shall be interpreted IAW with MIL-STD-2073-1: 001 000 10 1 00 EA NA X NR 00 B 00 0011.4 014.5 014.5 016.5 0002.007 M. Required delivery schedule is as follows: 17 each, November 2002. GOVERNMENT AND COMMERCIAL SURPLUS MAY BE ACCEPTABLE. Items must be new and unused. Vendor shall substantiate parts were manufactured by an approved source and include shipping documents from approved source to vendor, showing receipt/acceptance.
