Description

NA Subject Broad Agency Announcement is amended as described below. Please visit the Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) for the complete revised Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The URL for the IBOP is https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. The BAA ca n be found by accessing the Army Contracting Activity drop down menu, selecting CECOM and then searching for DAAB15-02-R-0003. A sample of a nondislosure agreement is provided with the revised BAA on the IBOP. Broad Agency Announcement DAAB15-02-R-0003 is amended to include the following: 'The Army has determined that it will be necessary to use the services of Fibertek, Inc. in a white paper/proposal evaluator role. The Army contracts with Fibertek, Inc. and its employment contracts with its personnel prohibit the unauthorized disclosure o f data to which Fibertek, Inc. or its employees have access under this Broad Agency Announcement. The firm is expressly prohibited from competing on the subject acquisition. The exclusive responsibility for source selection remains with the Government. I n accomplishing the duties related to the evaluation process, Fibertek, Inc. may require access to proprietary information contained in the offerors? proposals. Therefore, pursuant to FAR 9.505-4, Fibertek, Inc. must execute an agreement with each offeror which states that they will (1) protect the offeror?s information from unauthorized use or disclosure for as long as it remains proprietary and (2) refrain from using the information for any purpose other than that for which it was furnished. It is reque sted that each offeror contact contact Fibertek, Inc. to effect execution of such agreement. Each offeror shall submit a copy of the agreement with their white paper submission.
