Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) intends on issuing a Purchase Order, using Simplified Acquisition/Sole Source Procedures, to the Ohio University for the purpose of entering into a consortium agreement. The consortium was created for education and research based activities related to Ka-band satellite communications systems and operations. FEMA would like to become a voting Government member of the consortium in order to allow testing and evaluation for possible Ka-band uses in future FEMA disaster and day-to-day activities. Government point of contact is Mrs. Sandi Nixon, 540/542-2303. Responses to this notice must be received by 4:30 PM/EST, 3/25/02.
