- Description
- GSA is announcing its intent to issue a procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The contract will be a fixed price effort to provide information technology FDF Merge Software, Support and Maintenance for HQ AMC/SC at each MacDill AFB, FL, Hickham AFB, HI, Keesler AFB, MS, and Travis AFB, CA. Services for MacDill AFB include: (1) FDFMerge 3.7 for Windows NT (5 copies), (2) Support & Maintenance, which includes free product upgrades, unlimited e-mail and telephone technical support, for a one year period (5 copies). Services for Hickam AFB include: (1) FDFMerge 3.7 for Windows NT (5 copies), (2) Support & Maintenance which includes free product upgrades, unlimited e-mail and telephone technical support (5 copies). Services for Keesler AFB include: (1) FDFMerge 3.7 for Windows NT (3 copies), (2) Support & Maintenance which includes free product upgrades, unlimited e-mail and telephone technical support (3 copies). Services for Travis AFB include: FDFMerge 3.7 for Windows NT (5 copies), (2) Support & Maintenance which includes free product upgrades, unlimited e-mail and telephone technical support (5 copies). All support and maintenance is to be provided through 30 September 2002. Use of Appligent Inc. is being considered to satisfy the Government?s requirements. No other service provider is known to be capable of providing comparable software and support to meet the service requirements. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation, reference Number 5TC5701C170. NAICS Code 511210, Computer Software Publishers, packaged; applies. Size standard is $18.0 million. This requirement is to provide the software licenses and maintenance identified. Required Delivery Date for software, support and maintenance is 1 April 2002. FAR 52.212-2 shall apply to this acquisition. Award shall be made based on technical capability, past performance and cost. QUOTATIONS SHALL INCLUDE A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISIONS AT FAR 52.212-3. FAR 52.212-4 applies to this acquisition.
