Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). **Fixturlaser Shaft 200 Laser Alignment System-Model #100-SA200(or equal): quantity of 1 - Laser based measuring system - Horizontal and Vertical shaft alignment - multi-train shaft alignment (up to 5 components) - Off-set Cardan shaft alignment - Straightness measurements - raw detector and inclinometer measurements - dynamic movement measurements - softfoot measurement - adjustable filtering for measurements - Thermal compensation - built-in alignment tolerance data array - built-in electronic inclinometer - 1 micron (0.00001") resolution - 1% accuracy - magnetic fixturing - laser detector size 0.750 inch **Thin Magnetic Fixtures (pair)-Model #130-01 (or equal) quantity of 1 pair **Shaft 200 System Upgrade to include Fixturlaser GEO305-Model #099-GA305 (or equal): quantity of 1 - Laser based measuring system - geometric two-axis alignment - flatness, centering, live move function - detector measurement accuracy +/-1%, +/-0.003 mm - transmitter accuracy (flatness +/- 0.02mm/m, accuracy +/-0.02mm) - magnetic bases - laser detector size 0.750 inch **Geometric Alignment Accessory Kit-Model #099-GA000 (or equal) quantity of 1 - Leica Disto Classic4 doppler laser To include: 2 days training for 2 people and one day on-site system introduction. Documenter Database Software for Windows. **Belt Hog Pulley Alignment Tool-Model #V1681 (or equal) quantity of 1 - allows multiple quick measurements without removal - laser transmitters The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-27. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334413 and 500 employees, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery of FOB Destination is preferred. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above are due by 1:00 p.m. March 18, 2002, and may be mailed or faxed to: NASA Glenn Research Center, 21000 Brookpark Rd., Mail Stop 500-306, Cleveland, Ohio 44135. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin. Unless otherwise stated in the solicitation, for selection purposes, technical, price and past performance are essentially equal in importance. It is critical that offerors provide adequate detail to allow evaluation of their offer (see FAR 52.212-1(b). Quoters must provide copies of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items with their quote.
