Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. The NAICS code is 336999 and the SIC code is 3999. The applicable parts listing is too lengthy to include in this document. The required delivery date is 10 May 2002 and delivery shall be to Blo unt Island Command, Jacksonville, FL. A complete address will be provided at the time of award. Inspection and acceptance will at origin. Shipments will be FOB Destination. Items shall be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-130. Preservation/Packaging/Packing/Marking Requirements shall be best commercial practice in accordance with ASTM 3951-98. Additional details are available upon request. All items are to be Bar Coded in accordance with MIL-STD-1189. Provisions FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of price, the ability to meet the required delivery date, and evidence of complete familiarity with the HMMWV system. Al l offerors must include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ?Commercial Items, with submitted offers. All offers are due by 1:30 p.m., 21 March 2002 or by 1:30 p.m. 15 calendar days after this synopsis is published, whichever is later. All interested parties should submit their response to Lou Chavers at Contracts Department (Code 891), P.O. Drawer 43019, Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany, GA 31704-3019.
