- Synopsis: This is a fixed-price requirements contract for the purchase of a Personnel Locator System Appl: C-130, AN/ARS-6(V)7, Group A Kit #1560K018248ALG Install Kits, NSN 5826-01-434-0913, P/N: 283000-1, Radio Set w/GPS & NSN: 7025-01-434-0917, P/N: 283030-2, Remote Display Unit. Basic plus 3 options. Approximately 10 Each. Delivery: 30 SEP 02. Options TBD. The approximate issue date will be 31 Mar 02 with the approximate response date of 30 Apr 02. The request for solicitation should contain Company Name, Address, Point of Contact, Cage Code Number, Size of Business pursuant to Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code SOLE SOURCE TO: CUBIC DEFENSE SYSTEMS Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified above for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
