Description
NA On behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Installations and Environment and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Defense Contracting Command-Washington, DCC-W, intends to award a sole source contract to Trans Digital Technologies, TDT, for expert senior advisory services to support the development, analysis, and formulation of policy for the execution of installation and environmental programs, and for the evolution of such programs in accordance with legislation and regulations. The advisory services will include, but not be limited to, the monitoring of installation programs; conducting policy reviews of military construction; reviewing real-estate holdings; review of base realignment and closing, BRAC, programs; assisting in the rev iew of BRAC legislation, and providing advice on cost-effective allocation of resources, providing education and information dissemination programs and provide analyses and assist in facilitating various initiatives relating to Environmental Safety and Occ upational Health programs. Other contractors may be able to supply a similar support services, however TDT employs true experts in the area of installation and environmental programs. These experts on average have over 40 years of experience in the areas of installation and environmental. The period of performance is for approximately 10 months. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price performance based contract. There is NO solicitation document. This notice is not a request for proposals. Interested firms may send a capabilities statement to the attention of Pat Denard, DCC-W, 5200 Army Pentagon, Washington, D.C. 20310-5200. Capability statements must be received by this office within 15 days from publication of this notice. A determinat ion by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Award is anticipated on or about 29 March 2002.
