The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has a requirement for Transmitters for prairie dogs. The transmitters must meet the following specifications: Frequency range 164.000-165.999, life minimum of 230 days, minimum power output hot or cold ?5 db, pulse width 20 ppm, pulse rate 40 ppm, weight not to exceed 25gm. Additional specifications are listed in the RFQ. Interested parties may request a copy of the RFQ either by U.S. Mail, E-mail or fax. The request must contain the RFQ number (02CRQQ0090), the requester's name, complete street address, telephone and fax number. Telephone requests for the RFQ will not be accepted. Responses to the RFQ will be due on or before March 29, 2002. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. See numbered note 22.
