Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement to procure the following items: (1) 8? Port Flapper Valve, NSN 4810-01-475-8648, quantity 22 assemblies; (2) 8? Starboard Flapper Valve, NSN 4810-01-475-8415, quantity 22 assemblies; (3) Port Spray Ring, NSN 2990-01-475-9360, quantity 15 each; and (4) Starboard Spray Ring, NSN 2990-01-475-9354, quantity 15 each. All items shall be manufactured in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard Drawing Numbers 110WPB259-005-P, 110WPB259-005-S, 110WPB259-006-P, and 110WPB259-006-S. Drawings are available via CD-ROM. No hard copies of drawings shall be released from this office. All manufacturing details, including special accessories/features of each item, are listed on each referenced drawing. Items are used on the Exhaust Systems installed onboard the 110? WPB Coast Guard vessels. First Article Inspection/Approval and Quality Assurance Inspection shall be required for each item. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination to the U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. First Article Inspection shall be required no later than 30 days after award. Production items shall be required no later than 30 calendar days after First Article approval. Sources capable of manufacturing/casting these items shall submit a facsimile request to Kelly Wyatt at (410) 762-6056 or (410) 762-6008. Request For Quotation (RFQ) Number DTCG40-02-Q-50068 shall be posted on FedBizOpps at www.eps.gov for download and shall be available on or about 18 March 2002. Hard copies of the solicitation package shall not be issued from this office. The due date for submission of quotations shall be no later than 2 April 2002. Quotations submitted via email transmission shall NOT be accepted. Faxed quotations shall be permitted. See Numbered Note 12. The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short Term Lending Program (STLP), offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
