Description

NA The U.S. army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC), Targets Product Office intends to enter into a noncompetitive contract with Alliant Techsystems Inc. for the component procurement of four Castor IVB Motor Cases which will be incorporated into the current Contract DASG60-02-C-0023. The 4 motor cases will be integrated into the on-going Targets program for which these have been qualified. It has been determined that substantial duplication of costs would be incurred should award be to any other sour ces. Consequently, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) this action will be a sole- source award to Alliant Techsystems Inc., P.O. Box 98, Magna, UT, 84044-0000. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. All response should be directed to SMDC-CM-A K/Gladys Erskine and must be received within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice. This acquisition is not open to allied participation. See notes: 22.
