Description

NA The is a SOURCES SOUGHT for Cable or Sattelite TV service for the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center, CRTC Alpena Mi. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. The standard industrial c lassification code is 4841. Small business size standard is $11 Million. Television service is needed for approximately 650 television sets located throughout the base in office and dormitory areas. This service is not required for personnal use. The CRT C will require a Cable TV RF signal to be located to a demarcation point in the area of the property line at Bldg. 5010 of the base. This RF signal shall be a flat 10-15 dbm level. The CRTC requires, at a minimum, the channel line-up to consist of the fo ur major networks (NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX), a Public Broadcast Service (PBS) channel, UPN, one independent satellite channel (TBS, WGN, etc.), news channels (CNN, MSNBC, etc.), and sports programming channels such as ESPN and Fox Sports. This signal will b e used by the CRTC communcations for redistribution to the CRTC base CCTV system. The responsibility of maintenance for the CRTC CCTV system will fall upon the CRTC Communications Maintenance section. No maintenance will be required by the contracted ven dor except to insure the bulk signal provided at the demarcation point. This signal will have several channel blocked and local programming inserted for CRTC broadcasts for training and information purposes.
