Description

NA The subject solicitation has been converted to a negotiated action. Proposals are due 27 Mar 2002 at 1400 local time. Project consists of maintenance dredging the Rudee Inlet Entrance Channel and Sand Trap by hydraulic pipeline method. The Entrance Chan nel shall be dredged to depths varying between 10 feet and 12 feet MLLW (NOS) with 2 feet of allowable overdepth at each respective depth, and the Sand Trap to a depth of 18 feet MLLW (NOS) with 2 feet of allowable overdepth. The contractor shall place the dredged material in the Government-furnished, unconfined, shoreline dredged material management area, and construct finished elevations and grades in the placement area to the tolerances indicated and specified. Including estimated accretion to April 2002 and allowable overdepth, the project involves dredging approximately 53,490 cubic yards of material. Magnitude of construction is $500,000 to $1,000,000. Duration of the project is 30 calendar days for performance. This is a UNRESTRICTED Procurement. Applicable SIC code is 1629, with a size standard of $27.5 million. The NAICS code is 23499.
