Description

NA The project includes the design and construction of a seawall and revetment along the north shore of Barnegat Inlet, NJ to protect the Barnegat Inlet north jetty from flanking and the north shoreline and dunes along Island Beach State Park from severe eros ion. The project runs from the western terminus of the North Jetty to the Sedge Island Geo-tube structure. Solicitation documents will be available on the web page on or about 4 April 2002 hard copies will not be available. No written or fax requests sha ll be accepted. Contractors shall download this solicitation (including drawings) and all amendments (including drawings) from the Internet at the following address https://ebs.nap.usace.army.mil/AdvertisedSolicitations.asp on or after issue date of the s olicitation; The official media of distribution for this solicitation is the WEB PAGE. All required software to download the solicitation documents can be downloaded from the web page under Viewers. Interested contracts must register on the Internet. I f any of the contractor?s information changes during the advertisement period, contractors are responsible to make changes to their user profile on the Internet. Failure to make changes in their user profile may cause a delay in receiving the solicitation and amendments. Bidders are responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation including any drawings. Bids will be opened on or about 23 May 2002 at 11:00 am. This procurement is Unrestricted. The NAICS Code is 234990 with a size standard of $2 8.5 million. The estimated range of the project is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 and bonding is required. Affirmative action to insure equal employment opportunity is applicable to the resulting contract. Liquidated damages will be specified. Award will be ma de as a whole to one bidder. All contractors must be registered in the DoD's Central Contract Register before award as required by DFARS 204.7300. Instructions will be included in the Solicitation.
