Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government intends to award this requirement on a sole-source basis to Delta Information Systems pursuant to FAR 6.302-1, ?only one responsible source?. The U.S. Army Robert Morris Acquisitio n Center at White Sands Missile Range, NM, has a requirement for two each Data Transmission Test Set with Lab View Virtual Interface Software. This Telemetry equipment procured must function as an integral part of, and be electrically compatible with alre ady existing equipment. Delta Information Systems is currently the only company available that meets the requirement. Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and there is no addendum to this clause. C lause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, 52.222-26 Equal Opportunity, Clause 52.222-35 Affirmative Action for Special Disabled and Vietnam ERA Veterans, Clause 52.222-36 Affirmative A ction for Handicapped Workers. Interested vendors must provide documentation to show that they are providing same brand name or equal equipment, as well as technical data on its firm?s capabilities. All responses to this synopsis must be submitted by clo se of business 19 March 02 in order to be considered by the Government.
