- SOUTHDIV NAVFACENCCOM intents to obtain pest control services at the Naval Weapons Station, Charleston, Short Stay Recreation Area, Tenant Commands and other Federal Government Facilities located in the Tri-County Area. The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary to provide pest control services using Integrated Pest Management techniques. Work includes but is not limited to the performance of nuisance, structural, stored products, mosquito?s and biting fly, filth fly, turf and ornamental, week and other miscellaneous pest control services. The Contractor and all employees shall be licensed by the State of South Carolina to provide pest control in the categories specified in this contract. All work shall be performed by certified, responsible individuals and shall be in accordance with Federal, State, local, and installation laws and requirements. Proof of certification and licensing in the required category must be provided with the offeror proposals. All pesticides shall be procured, processed, handled, and applied in strict accordance with the manufacturer's label that shall be registered with the Environmental Protection Agency and the applicable state Lead Agency for enforcement of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). All pest control operations shall be recorded daily and submitted by the Pest Management Data System (PMDS) reporting procedure. The proposed contract will be a combination firm fixed-price and indefinite quantity type contract. The estimated value of the project is between $500,000 and $1,000.000. This project is being issued as a 100% small business set aside with a NACIS Code of 561710. Contractors must be registered in the central contractor register. Contractors not registered will not be considered. The solicitation will be issue on or about March 25, 2002 and bids shall be due on or about April 22, 2002. Period of performance will be from 01 May 2002 through 30 September 2002. Solicitations may contain provisions for four options years. Solicitations may be obtained from Southern Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command electronic solicitation web site located at www.esol.navfac.mil. Telephone and fax requests will not be accepted.
