Description

Solicitation--RFQ N68711-02-Q-2115, Replace Floor Covering at Building 1552 (R-581-02), at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, CA--This is a Firm Fixed-Price contract.--The work includes the furnishing of all materials, labor, equipment, transportation, management, supervision, and incidental related work as required to replace floor covering at Building 1552. The Contractor shall remove and dispose of cove base and carpet and install new floor tile cove base in the designated areas as indicated in the Request for Quotations. The floors shall be scraped and prepped prior to the installation of new cove base and floor tile.--NOTE: All Federal Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database, new contract awards can only be made to contractors who are registered in the CCR. CCR Web site: www.ccr.gov--Quotation package available on the Internet site on or about 19 March 2002.-- Site Visit 9:00 AM, local time, 27 March 2002.-- Only one site visit will be offered. Quotations due on or before Close of Business on 05 April 2002--Total duration of contract is 25 calendar days--This procurement is a Small Business Set-Aside--NAICS Code 23552. The Government intends to issue this solicitation through the use of the Internet. Plans and Specifications will NOT be directly provided in a paper hard copy format. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. It is therefore the Contractor?s responsibility to check the below listed address daily for any posted changes to this solicitation?s plans and specifications. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Download from the Internet is free of charge; however, some plans and specifications will take a considerable amount of time to download. Telephone or FAX requests will not be accepted. The official Plan Holder?s list will be maintained on, and can be printed from the Internet site. All prospective quoters must register as planholders on the Internet EBS Web Site for this project. Each company must indicate it?s name, address, phone number, and E-Mail address; identify whether the firm is a Prime, sub or Supplier, and indicate whether firm is a small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business or Large Business or if firm is a Woman-Owned Business. Plan Centers are also required to register. See solicitation for proper address for delivery of quotes.
